Mural on the flak tower
The artist Sylvie Proidl has painted a 13m high Mayan figure (guardian at the wake) on the north face of the large flak tower in Arenberpark, Vienna. In reflection of the lost culture of this people, the lime- water color used to paint the figure will fade away under the influence of sunshine and rain: it will thus symbolize the vulnerability of every culture.
