Creation und painting SYLVIE PROIDL
In the art video CINE_GARDEN the visual artist Sylvie Proidl incorporates gardens and landscapes that play an important role in movies between 1936 and 2006. The cold, artificial nature at Marienbad, Peter Greenaway's combination of emotion and garden art, and the exotic landscape in which the film-maker Sijie Dai sets her stories are part of a very personal selection. This projection is combined with oil paintings from the cycle "Les jardins heureux", which show fictitious places without explicit topographies. |
